Daily line-up for the Bray Air Display is announced

THE daily line-up for this year’s Bray Air Display has been announced, with onthe-ground activities starting at midday each day, and the airshow itself from 3.30 p.m. on Saturday, July 22 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 23.

Fifteen acts will perform on the Saturday, along with a further five acts also performing on the Sunday, bringing the total on Sunday to 20 high quality participat­ing air display acts.

The gardai have asked those attending the air display to use public transport wherever possible. There will be a comprehens­ive traffic management plan in place

throughout the two days of the event, which is designed to get visitors in and out of the town as quickly and easily as possible.

Brayairdis­play.com will have informatio­n on road closures and traffic restrictio­ns online in the coming week.

Acts to perform on both days include the Royal Jordanian Falcons, The Cataline, Irish Air Corp, Swedish Air Force, British Spitfire, The Black Knights, The Strike-masters, Norwegian MIG and Vampires, The Firefiles, The Ravens, Irish Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demonstrat­ion, Aer Lingus Dc-3, and the Irish Parachute Club.

A further five acts will be included on the Sunday – F-18 Jet from the Spanish Airforce, Patrouille Tranchant, The Blades, Irish Historic Flight Foundation and Aer Lingus A321 passenger aircraft. There will be helicopter rides both days.
