Leinster rugby team to train in Arklow

THE Leinster Rugby Team is coming to Arklow Rugby Club to hold the first open training session of the 2017/18 season on Tuesday, August 1 marking the launch of the new club pitch.

This event is the culminatio­n of the pitch corrective works that began in 2016 and sees the launch of the new pitch on the same day.

After a short opening ceremony, The Leinster team will train on the new surface and remain at the ground for photos and autographs afterwards.

The Leinster Team will be on the pitch from 12.15 p.m. and will train for 90 minutes, after which they will remain on the pitch to sign autographs for one hour.

The event is free to attend and open to all so people are advised to come early to get a good view. The club will be open from 11 a.m. This will be a unique occasion for fans to come and see some of the country’s best players be put through their paces on your own doorstep.
