Glen view’ s excellence award

THE Glenview Hotel and Leisure Club in Wicklow has been awarded the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Award.

Minister Simon Harris presented the award recently, with the Glenview only the third company in Ireland to reach the internationally recognised business excellence model’s Recognised for Excellence Four Star Standard. The Glenview Hotel employs 125 people and dates back over 100 years. It has 70 guest rooms, a 2AA Rosette Woodlands Restaurant, The Conservatory Bistro and superb facilities across its 30 acre grounds including an award winning leisure club.

EFQM provides a framework for companies seeking to deliver added value to their customers while improving their overall operational and business performance.

This award is the latest success for the hotel which was also award- ed a Certificate of Excellence by Tripadvisor in 2016 as well as winning Leinster’s Hotel Venue of the Year in the weddingonline awards.
