Glen view’ s excellence award

THE Glenview Hotel and Leisure Club in Wicklow has been awarded the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Award.

Minister Simon Harris presented the award recently, with the Glenview only the third company in Ireland to reach the internatio­nally recognised business excellence model’s Recognised for Excellence Four Star Standard. The Glenview Hotel employs 125 people and dates back over 100 years. It has 70 guest rooms, a 2AA Rosette Woodlands Restaurant, The Conservato­ry Bistro and superb facilities across its 30 acre grounds including an award winning leisure club.

EFQM provides a framework for companies seeking to deliver added value to their customers while improving their overall operationa­l and business performanc­e.

This award is the latest success for the hotel which was also award- ed a Certificat­e of Excellence by Tripadviso­r in 2016 as well as winning Leinster’s Hotel Venue of the Year in the weddingonl­ine awards.
