camp sponsored by O’Donnell’s Pharmacy was a brilliant success again this year. With approx 160 boys and girls at the camp a great time was had by all concerned. This year’s summer camp jersey was fantastic as was the special camp medal and certificate. The weather was kind and what a line up of coaches we had on hand. Dublin Senior footballers Molly Lamb, Amy Connolly, Emma McDonagh, Sarah McCaffery and Con O’Callaghan, Dublin under-16 captain Grainne O’Driscoll with club GPO Steve Davis and Paul Ennis. However, this year, it was great sense of pride to have our own home grown young players assisting the senior coaches at the camp, that’s a sure sign of progress in our club. A special word of thanks must go to all the organisers of the camp which was a mighty task. New club players are always welcome – contact Kevin at 086 8449902.Our golf classic contact is Jimmy Nolan at 087 2633203 who already has the time sheet open for next year’s event.
