Matt and Vera meet Corrie’s Kevin
BRAY couple Matt and Vera Hannon got a great surprise on a recent trip to Manchester when they bumped into Coronation Street star Michael Le Vell, known to millions as mechanic Kevin Webster.
Matt and Vera were away with their daughter Rosaleen and son-in-law Mark.
They were in the city to visit relatives.
Matt is from Cavan but went over to Manchester to work in the 1960s. He moved back to Ireland in the ’70s and chose to live in Bray.
Mr Le Vell was having a pint with friends in his local when the holiday-makers stopped in to the bar for a drink.
Vera is a huge fan of Coronation Street. Matt approached Michael to ask for a photo, and the actor was glad to oblige.
Mark, a professional photographer, did the honours and got a great picture of trio.
Matt and Vera live close to the Main Street in Bray, while Mark and Rosaleen live on Novara Avenue.
