FASHION AND STYLE EVENT IN AID OF TIGLIN
AN EVENING of glitz and glamour in aid of Tiglin will take place in the newly-refurbished Whale Theatre in Greystones on Friday, September 15, where Greystones boutiques will showcase their best outfits.
‘ The fashion event will showcase Autumn/ Winter 17 collections from top Irish designers who create couture and finely tailored garments to an exclusive selection of Greystones boutiques,’ said stylist Joanne Costello from XMedia in Delgany.
‘ There will be a broad range of looks shown to suit all occasions for both women and men.’
Joanne has styled high profile fashion shows, red carpet events, editorial shoots for designers, brands, and celebrity covers in national and international publications.
In 2011, RTE identified Joanne as one of the up and coming names in the fashion industry and in 2015 European Fashion TV featured her on their ‘one to watch’ in Europe.
There will be entertainment on the night from singer/songwriter Luane Parle; entertainer and RTE presenter Reuben Evans and 98FM DJ Steven Cooper.
There will be some special guest appearances, and goodie bags from the Guinot salon and Brooke & Shoals.
All the proceeds will go to Tiglin who provide services to the homeless five days a week through their No Bucks Café which gives food, blankets, clothing and toiletries to those sleeping rough on the streets – they depend on the No Bucks Team for both emotional and physical support.
‘ Tiglin also offers support to those suffering from addiction problems and we have centres in Ashford, Brittas Bay, Arklow and we have a housing facility, Carraig Eden in Greystones,’ said Tiglin CEO Phil Thompson.
‘We have always experienced great support from the community in Greystones and Wicklow and this is a nice opportunity for people to support us while having a great night out.’
A standard ticket is €40, to include a Guinot Salon goodie bag worth €55. A VIP ticket is €75 and will also include a Brooke & Shoals goodie bag worth €85.
