Refuge pyjama appeal

Bray women’s refuge is appealing for donations of pyjamas for women and children.

They receive a large amount of donations at Christmas time, and around this time of year they begin to run low.

‘It’s unfortunate that so many women needed our service over the last eight months,’ they said in their appeal. ‘We want to ensure that we can continue to provide the small things to make their stay as easy as possible and it’s amazing what a pair of pyjamas can do.

They need women’s pyjamas in sizes 8 -20, and children’s pyjamas of all sizes, but especially age 8-9 and 9-10 for both boys and girls.

A collection will take place at Villa Pacis at the Queen of Peace church on Friday, August 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
