Horror as man finds pet’s head at door

A Rathdrum dog owner was horrified after he found the head of one of his pet Chihuahuas at his back door.

Kieran Keogh from Brewery Bends in Rathdrum left his two small dogs in his backyard last Friday morning when he went to visit family in Avoca.

When he came home later that day he found one of his pets had been decapitated with the head missing. Despite searching for the missing head Kieran was unable to locate it.

However in the early hours of Saturday morning, he was shocked to find the head of the animal had been left at his back door.

Gardai have asked anyone who may have seen any activity around the Brewery bends estate or the Rathdrum to Avoca road to call Wicklow Garda station at (0404) 67107
