World’s best-paid DJs
For the fifth year in a row, Calvin Harris has topped the list of top earning DJs, as calculated by Forbes in the US. The Scotsman’s earnings come from a number of streams - from six-figure sums for Las Vegas performances and festivals, to producing for the likes of Pharrell and Katy Perry. Meanwhile, Tiesto takes the runner-up spot, thanks to a busy year which saw him play over 130 gigs, each commanding six-figure sums.
