We are down to the last four in the All Ireland football series and the first of the semi finals, throws up two teams very familiar with this stage and indeed each other.

Kerry are football royalty, Mayo are football’s Cinderella., can they finally get to take home the prize.

The quarter finals didn’t reveal much. Kerry barely got out of third gear as they swept Galway aside, while Mayo were forced into a replay, but then demolished Roscommon in the replay.
