GET IN GEAR FOR FIELD DAY

-

VINTAGE CAR enthusiast Ali Kavanagh from Enniskerry is one of those getting in gear for this year’s Enniskerry Field Day which takes place on September 10. The event will take place at Monastery House, Monastery Road.

Always a firm favourite at the annual Enniskerry Field Day, the vintage car rally at this year’s event is set to attract car owners and their vehicles from all over the country.

Other highlights will include a full food village, petting farm, pony rides, falconry and archery displays, dog show and children’s novelty sports events, artisan village featuring arts and crafts and of course the ever popular baking and jam competitions.

A new event called ‘Event in the Tent’ will take place in a marquee on the evening of Friday, September 8.

This new format event promises to be a great night out with rocking music featuring headline act Bunty and The Bristlehounds.

The charity partner this year is Open Door - a day centre based in bray that provides facilities and activities for adults with physical disabilities in Wicklow and Dublin.

This year’s field day is sponsored by Spirit Motor Group, Wicklow Wolf Brewing Company, and Appdrag.com.
