Festival of history

The 29th La Touche Legacy and fourth Festival of History will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 29 and 30, in Greystones Golf Club.

This year’s events will examine the theme of ‘Creating a New State’.

The exhibition run in conjunction with weekend will be provided by the students and staff of St Brigid’s National School.

George Jones, Chairman of the La Touche Legacy, said: ‘The committees of the La Touche Legacy and Greystones Archaeological and Historical Society were delighted that St Brigid’s were taking part in this year’s festival, and very much look forward to their contribution.’

The exhibition will take place at the start of the Seminar on Friday, September 29 at 4 p.m. in the golf club.
