Walk along the Cliff Walk for Mental Health Ireland
Bray woman Aisling McDonnell is organising a walk for Mental Health Ireland from Bray to Greystones on Saturday, October 7 at 2.30 p.m.
This is the third year of the walk, which takes place just before World Mental Health Day, October 10.
The easy and enjoyable walk will take between an hour and an hour and a half. The starting point is outside Bray Dart station.
The idea is that any participants would fundraise money in aid of the event, but if you are worried you may not be able to do so, feel free to just make a contribution on the day of the walk itself - every little helps.
Collection tins will be available for money raised and contributions on the day of the walk, but for anyone who would like a sponsorship card, you can email aislingmcdonnell@yahoo. co.uk and she will post one to you. Alternatively, you can set up an online sponsorship page on everydayhero.com, which you can share with your friends on social media.
This is a fantastic opportunity to create awareness of mental health issues and raise money for Mental Health Ireland, which will celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. The event is open to absolutely everyone, so please invite any friends you think may be interested.
