The Alzheimer’s Café in Bray meets from 2.30 p.m. until 4 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month at the Orchard, Bray Old Folks Associatio­n, Killarney Road.

The Alzheimer’s Café is for people all over Wicklow and south Dublin.

The café is a relaxed place where people with dementia, their families and friends, health and social care profession­als come together for education and support over a cup of tea.

It is a safe space where people can share experience­s and talk about dementia.

This is a voluntary joint initiative by St Columcille’s Hospital and Community Health in south Dublin and Wicklow.

The service is free of charge and welcomes people with all types of dementia and their family members and carers. Peace Church, Putland Road, Bray.

If you are lonely, isolated or suffering from stress, why not come learn a practical psychology of mental health? GROW is a mutual help, mutual support group for personal growth and change.

The group meets weekly, using a 12 step programme of recovery.

The Adult Book Club meets on a Wednesday at 11 a.m.

The library’s opening hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
