GYMNASTICS CLUB

Nearly 40 years in Rathdrum doing gymnastics, classes suitable to total beginners or very aspiring gymnasts. New Trampoline only classes available too. Classes on Fridays, Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

THURSDAY WALKS

Last week’s walk to the Slate Quarry in Bolagh/Kilmacrea attracted 28 participants. Another dry evening allowed for great viewing on all sides of the hill in what was was lovely late evening light.

And so we reach the end of the road for this season this coming thursday with the last of 23 walks to Whaley Abbey and the forestry tracks there. The walk will start sharp at 7 p.m. from Ann Savages house in Clash with anyone travelling from Rathdrum leaving the Memorial Park no later than 6.50.

As has become traditional a cup of tea will be had in Anns house after the walk where everyone can share stories of the season gone before we go our seperate ways for the winter. If you have been on the walks and can’t make this walk come for the cup of tea anyway.

A collection will be held on the night with proceeds going to the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team.
