M.O.T.M.
For the last 15 minutes of this game as the clash was hanging in the balance, Blessington needed a big player to step up to the plate and Paul McLoughlin did just that by making three key interceptions as Pat’s came looking for vital scores.
Pushing him was his brothers Mick and Anto while Eoin Keogh’s performance on Dean Healy was also notewothy.
For Pat’s, they were excellently served by Paudge McWalter and he looked like a real threat all day for them. John Crowe worked hard as did Conor Ffrench and James Kavanagh was excellent at times.
The loss of Dean Healy as a major player in this game was critical to the defeat for Casey O’Brien’s men
But Paul McLoughlin gets the nod as the overall man of the match.
