Without a shadow of a doubt the player who gets the nod for this selection is Rathnew’s Jody Merrigan. He is fast becoming the player of the championship at the attacking end of the field as Damien Power and Paul Merrigan are at the other end.

Jody is growing in confidence with each passing game, his runs are improving, his sense of space, his timing, and his placed ball kicking is also moving up a notch.

Kiltegan tried as best they could but they were swallowed up in the Rathnew storm with no hope of rescue.
