Phil Lynott drawings to hang in wax museum

-

BRAY ARTIST Conall McCabe was invited to the new Dublin Waxworks Museum last week to make a presentation to Philomena Lynott.

The presentation was of three large drawings of the late Philip to his mother.

The drawings or triptych depict Lynott at different stages of his life and were kindly reframed on request by Philomena.

Conall completed the drawings while completing his masters in the New York Academy of Art in 2003.

He has pursued a very active and varied career in art to date, having recently completed a solo show in Gallery X Dublin in early 2017. He is currently preparing for an exhibition stall in Dublin’s RDS Artsource Art Fair in November alongside working on private commissions and his many teaching commitments.

The three charcoal drawing s of the legendary frontman Philip Lynott, lead singer and bassist of Thin Lizzy will become a permanent fixture on the walls of the New Dublin Waxwork on Westmoreland Street.
