Students show their true colours

-

Pupils at St Kilian’s Community School donned their preferred jerseys last Friday morning to help animals in need.

The jersey day was organised by the 3F CSPE class at the local school. Pupils and teachers alike got to nail their colours to the mast in favour of their particular sports team as they reaised funds for Wicklow SPCA in Rathdrum.

The students have raised over €250 so far and will visit the shelter on Thursday to present the money.

At Sharpeshill animal sanctuary in Rathdrum, staff work tirelessly to rehabilitate and re-home animals. They provide love, care and much needed attention to hundreds of animals that are abused, mistreated and hurt.
