Sarah dances her way into sixth spot at the World Championships
A BRAY dancer has taken a Leinster title and sixth place in the World Irish Dancing Championships.
Fifteen-year-old Sarah Goughran attends The Fegan Academy of Irish Dancing in Bray, where she has been a pupil since the age of three.
Sarah has travelled the world competing in America, Canada, Scotland, and Great Britan.
She has won the Leinster Championships for the last two years in a row and is aiming for a third title in November.
Her most recent achievement was getting sixth place out of over 200 qualifiers in the World Championships in The
City West Hotel in Dublin earlier this year.
Sarah’s teachers say she is extremely committed and hard-working. She spends all of her spare time in the Fegan Academy Studio in Bray training to perfect her sport.
At the weekends, she travels the country to compete. Sarah is very dedicated and determined to improve.
She was recently hand-picked by Fusion Fighters to perform and train with them at Fusion Dance Fest which was aired on Fleadh TV.
Her teachers Pauline and Bernadette Fegan are very proud of her and would like to see her receive the acknowledgement she deserves.
