TY COFFEE MORNING
Congratulations to all the TY students who held a very successful coffee morning in aid of the Wicklow Hospice last Friday the 15th.
It was a lovely morning in Fatima Hall with a great spread of home baking. The girls collected €850 for the Hospice.
Well done to all transition year students and thanks to all the parents and friends who came to show their support.
ART TRIP TO NEWGRANGE
On Wednesday, September 20, Senior Art students went on their art history trip to Knowth and Newgrange to research the building system and stone carving from the Neolithic period in Ireland. It was a very educational day, if a little wet, but students gained a great understanding of the lifestyle and beliefs of the people of the time thanks to the very professional and well informed guides.
