Neighbours clash as Coolboy visit Back Alley

-

NEIGHBOURING clubs often bring out the best in each other and this was certainly the case when Coolboy Rangers under-8s made the short trip to the Back Alley to take on the home team on two five-a-side games last weekend.

A very decent crowd of hopeful mammys and daddy turned up for this high octane feast of football and they weren’t disap- pointed for the most part.

One of the coolboy Rangers sides were quite strong and managed to harvest a tidy win for themselves with some quality football on show while the other game between the Rangers and Carnew teams produced something of a classic.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable encounter and the return visit will be one the Carnew AFC club will look forward to as they seek to gain revenge.
