Plucks Golf Society Trip

19 very weary but tired golfers returned in the early hours of Sunday morning from the annual Golf trip to Murcia. The members played on five of the days with three Team Competitions and two Singles which were won by Tommy Byrne (42 points) and Greg ‘Ted’ O’Donnell won the Captains away day outing with 37 points (Pictured with Mark Quinn). Gerry Tuohy won the Par three competition run by Brian Morgan in memory of that great society member, the late Aidan ‘3 Stars’ Kane.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the week (but missed their partners immensely of course) but the whole event would not have been possible but for the effort Liam Finnerty puts into the event every year and all would like to thank him so much for a great trip. Special thanks also to golfing secretaries Trevor Carr and Mark Quinn and Patrick ‘Whackers’ Byrne, who looked after all the prize money.
