Cup holders Cork City have hit a bit of a wobbler of late as they look to close the league title which looks destined for Leeside this year and they may well have a step closer to that goal as they hosted champions Dundalk on Monday night.

Last Friday however they slipped up in the league when they were beaten by Limerick and the same two sides meet again in this the first of this year’s semi finals, with Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers on the other side of the draw.
