Sports and family fun
THERE was sport and family fun at the Bray Emmets grounds recently for the annual Kick Fada competition.
Members and non members were invited to the Old Connaught Road to enjoy the long-kick competition and plenty of activities.
There were food and beverage stalls, with attendees enjoying everything from hot dogs and pizza to burgers and chips.
The ‘soak the coach’ attraction proved popu- lar, while some brought along their hurleys for engraving.
Other games included target ball and tyre wall ball.
There was nail painting, hook a duck, wire games, and even egg and spoon races.
The day included bric a brac stalls, a hamster game, a massive cake sale and a monster raffle with lots of fantastic prizes. Mena and Joe Sheridan were the winners of the Kick Fada.
