Congratula­tions to the local Drama Group on the presentati­on of their plays over last Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, when the performed to full houses on each night and got a great reception,

Well done to the Tidy Towns Group, who have raised their marks over last year and received a very good report on same.

HANDBALL

Coolgreany Handball lotto was won with Larry Doyle of the Fighting Cocks Carlow scooping the €12,000 jackpot. The new jackpot now stands at €2,000.

Lotto tickets are available locally at €2, in Jim Shorts, Coolgreany post office, O’Rafferty’s and Liam Clare. A new prize format is now in now in place, with no match 3’s, No Bonus Numbers, instead there is now seven lucky dips worth €30 each, and one seller’s prize. Glenealy Foróige youth club is back in Glenealy Village hall for youths aged 12 years to 18 years. Gymboree Play and Music Classes every Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in Glenealy Village Hall. Suitable for babies, toddlers and Pre-Schoolers from six months – four years.
