Wave of Light

October is infant and pregnancy loss awareness month. October 15 is an international day of remembrance and at 7 p.m. on Greystones South beach there will be a wave of light gathering. This is where parents who have lost a baby in any stage of pregnancy, prior to or after birth, light a candle in memory of their little one at 7 p.m. through to 8 p.m. creating an international wave of light.

Anyone who would like to join in memory of their little ones are all welcome whether you are recently bereaved or are bereaved many years ago.

Bring a candle, a jam jar to put it in on the beach and a flask of tea or coffee! Unless it is lashing rain it will go ahead.
