October 1993

-

GARDAI in Arklow believe that items stolen from a Riverwalk workshop at the weekend will be put on the market for sale. The weekend haul by thieves included two outboard engines for boats, a microwave and electrical equipment including a welder and drill.

The items were stolen from a workshop attached to the Riverwalk Café and the thieves gained entry by forcing open the door.

Gardai are warning members of the public to be on guard for these stolen items to be put on the market for sale and to report anything suspicious immediately. Boat owners are also advised to be careful after recent incidents.
