There will be a free defibrillator demonstration in Avoca Community Hall Thursday, October 12, at 8 p.m.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT

Congratulations to our bowls team: Betty Scott, Borris Ivanoff, Tommy Holden, John Moules on winning the shield in the national bowls competition in Killarney last week. Also to our other teams who did very well with one of our other teams reaching the semi-final in the competition.

Next trip is the Christmas trip from November November 27 to December 1 staying in the Glen Eagle Hotel Killarney. If go-
