The under-12s put in a Great performance by under against Arklow on Saturday. Both teams went into the match unbeaten but the Glen’s came out 2-1 winners. The vital goals came from Reuben Smith and Luke Honan sealed the win. Denis Bretveld had a great game in goals but man of match was Cian Reddin, who put up a remarkable performance in defence. The whole team played their part in a great win and it gives them a great chance to win some silverware this season if they can keep up their good form.

The under-14s were away to Wicklow Rovers in a game played under lights last Friday night and they recorded a fine 5-2 victory. Oisín Kelly scored twice with Luke Kelly, Dylan Henry and Sam Morgan also hitting the net. The Glens took the lead after 10 minutes with a super corner from Sam Morgan which was flicked into the net by Dylan Henry and then five minutes later Sam Morgan swung in another super corner, this time it took a slight deflection off a Wicklow player and into the net for a 2-0 lead at half time. Oisín made it 3-0 before Wicklow Rovers Luke Kelly restored within a minute of their goal, then with 10 minutes to go Wicklow pulled another one back but again the glens replied immediatly make it 5-2 and finish off another fine team performance and guarantee at least a second place finish and a semi-final slot against another Premier division team.

The senior team were away to Arklow United on Sunday morning and recorded a very good 3-0 win. Nathan waters scored the first goal and Simon Doyle netted two more to give the glens a comfortable 3-0 halftime lead. There were no more goals after the restart but this was a very good all round team performance with Paul Devlin, Nathan and Simon all in great form.
