DANCE IN GOLF CLUB MARKS 70 YEARS OF QUEEN OF PEACE PARISH

MEMBERS of the Queen of Peace parish gathered at Bray Golf Club recently to celebrate ‘70 years of community spirit’.

The occasion was celebrated with a dinner dance which was very well attended.

The evening included a dance demonstration by the wonderful Joe and Phyllis McCann.

Members of the congregation and parish pastoral council attended the dance, as well as priests, friends and supporters of the parish.

It was a wonderful evening with a delicious meal and dancing.

Further celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the parish are being planned.

The celebration will run over a weekend in December and the parish pastoral council is working on a pastoral plan for the coming five years.
