Kids’ Halloween activities at The Martello
Halloween mid-term means one thing at The Martello in Bray – spooks, scares plus sackloads of entertainment for children.
The Martello is offering a busy schedule of activities for kids of all ages.
On Monday, October 30, kids are welcome to get creative and carve their own pumpkin, just in time for Halloween. There will be a resident pumpkin carver on hand to show off some of his creations and help the kids carve the perfect pumpkin. There are three time slots available – noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – and the cost is €5 per child with pumpkins included. Spaces are limited so be sure to book your place soon at themartello.ie.
There will also be an orienteering trail on the seafront from Saturday, October 28, until Sunday, November 5, from noon. Kids will have to put their map-reading skills to the test to find all the hidden letters. The cost is €2 per child with a treat at the end and all money raised goes to Ardmore Rovers FC. To take part, go to Martello reception and ask for a map.
Magician Jack Wise will perform two shows on Wednesday, November 1, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are €5 per child and available online.
