Drunk walker on motor way
A man who was walking in the middle of the motorway was arrested for his own safety.
David Flood (38), 3 Sarto Road, Bayside, Dublin, appeared in Bray District Court last Thursday.
The court heard that gardai were called to the N11 south Bray on February 24, 2017. Flood was walking in the middle of the motorway and was drunk.
He was unable to communicate his name but he was not abusive and was cooperative. The court heard that Flood is embarrassed and has expressed remorse. He appreciates the action taken by gardai.
Judge David Kennedy said that if he doesn’t come to garda attention in the next 12 months he will dismiss the matter with the benefit of the probation act.
The case was adjourned to October 15, 2018.
