Duo finedf or public disorder

Two brothers were fined €300 each for threatening and abusive behaviour.

James Hind (40), 23 Ledwidge Crescent, Bray, and Kenneth Hind (44), 115 Hollybrook Park, Bray, were involved in a public altercation at Quinsboro Road on the evening of August 14, 2016.

Last Thursday, Bray District Court heard that the matter involved a fight between a number of men on Quinsboro Road. Gardai saw the incident break out on CCTV footage and were dispatched to the scene.

James Hind had been assaulted by a number of people. His brother Kenneth was in the area and there was an element of retaliation.

The court heard that it was a matter of ‘pushing and shoving’ with no other members of the public involved.
