Possession of €5cannabis

An unemployed man who was in possession of €5 worth of cannabis was given until November 27 to raise a €750 donation.

Edward Noble (34), 76 Cherryorchard Court, Ballyfermot, appeared in Bray District Court last Thursday.

He had the cannabis at Annamoe, Roundwood, on November 30, 2016. Gardai were on patrol and saw the car stopped at the side of the road.

If the donation to the court poor box has been made by next month, Judge David Kennedy will strike the matter out with the benefit of the Probation Act
