NIGHT OF DANCING, MUSIC AND FUN IN AID OF WICKLOW RNLI

THE Parkview Hotel in Newtownmountkennedy was full to capacity for last Friday’s social dance in aid of Wicklow RNLI.

For the past number of years Adrian Colgan of the Wicklow RNLI Fundraising Branch has organised the annual event. There was plenty of local support from Wicklow town and surrounding areas, but other guests travelled far greater distances to lend their support to the event, including from Blessington, Baltinglass and Stillorgan.

Performing on the night, and ensuring that the dance floor was active at all times, were Jimmy Hogan and Lar Kenny, who provided the rousing music.

Plans are already underway for two similar RNLI social dances taking place next year in the Parkview during the months of May and October.
