Tourism industry targets German market

FOOTFALLS Walking Holidays were among 29 Irish companies taking part in a leading networking event with leading German tour operators.

The B2B workshop took place in Offenbach, near Frankfurt, with Germany representing Ireland’s third-largest tourism market.

Footfalls Walking Holidays, based in Round- wood, were among the Tourism Ireland delegation who travelled over to Germany for the workshop. The delegation from Ireland met with German, Swiss and Austrian tour operators, in a bid to convince the influential travel professionals in attendance to include Ireland in their holiday programmes for 2018.
