WINTER SOCIAL EVENING

A winter Social Evening for all senior citizens in the community will be held in Parview House, Shillelagh on Friday, November 10.

Meals will be served at 6 p.m., followed by music and dancing. Please Ring Parkview House at 053 9429120 or 087 6028614 if attending for meals. Adm. €7 and there is a door prize, plus raffle on the night.

Donations of spot prizes would be welcome. Everyone is very welcome to attend on the night.

CELTIC STARS FC

Celtic Stars completed the double on Saturday beating Vale Wanderers 1-0 in the cup final. The only goal was scored from a penalty by William Dixon after Tony Darcy was fouled. The game got tense near the end after Stars had hit the bar and post. Man of the match was Tomas Kenny. Well done to everyone, a truly great season.

COMMUNITY CARE ROAD SHOW

The Community Care Roadshow comes to Tinahely Community Hall on October 26 from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is a series of talks by Wicklow County Council, Garda Síochána, Wicklow Fire Service, and the HSE.
