The Strand sells for €1.8 million
The Strand Hotel and Bar has been sold, with buyers the Puyan Group paying €1.8 million for the property.
The investors’ other acquisitions include Butlers’ Guesthouse on Lansdowne Road.

The Strand underwent extensive renovation and extension in the past year.
Brian McDonald, the awardwinning interior architect and designer whose projects include Fade Street Social, Morrison Hotel, Pravda Bar, and Jameson’s Distillery, has once again excelled and created a bespoke venue of contemporary style with innovative and elegant designs.
The hotel was built in 1870 by Sir William and Lady Jane Wilde, and was inherited by Oscar Wilde in 1876.
