Hospice foundation bowled over by coffee morning donation

-

Greystones Bowling Club held a coffee morning recently to raise money for Wicklow Hospice Foundation.

This was part of ‘Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ in association with Bewleys.

Last week, the club presented €920 to the foundation. The committee were thrilled to accept the kind donation.

Greystones Bowling Club is always looking for members of all ages.

The season starts in March and ends at the end of September. The club is located in a beautiful setting in Burnaby Park behind the yellow gate, with magnificent views of the sea.

They are a very friendly club and have plenty of fun days and social events as well as a wonderful community spirit. Plenty of visitors called in to their coffee morning to make their generous donations to the foundation.

It was a very enjoyable event. Everyone enjoyed the refreshments and catching up.

Wicklow Hospice’s ‘Strictly’ event will take place on November 25 in the Arklow Bay Hotel.

The dancers are busy working with their coaches to make sure that they provide a night of entertainment which will be second to none.
