New operations chief at golf club
DELGANY Golf Club has appointed John O’Sullivan as Director of Operations.
Club captain Denzil Jones said John joins Delgany Golf Club with a strong background in golf club management, golf course construction and agronomy, having worked in some highly rated golf clubs such as Waterville in Kerry and Druids Glen in Wicklow.
John has managed Irish Opens and Ladies Irish Opens and Delgany Golf Club will benefit from his experience at championship level.
John’s role in Delgany is to prepare and oversee Delgany Golf Club’s further development as one of Ireland’s premier member owned golf clubs.
Delgany has a strong history in Irish and international golf, having produced 4 Ryder Cup players since its founding in 1908, with iconic golfing names such as Bradshaw, Darcy, Martin and O’Leary.
Delgany Golf Club’s history and future in the golf industry is well secured.
John is well respected within the golf industry and his appointment has been widely welcomed amongst the members of Delgany Golf Club.
