Car tax case struck out

A CHARGE of non display of a tax disc was struck out by Judge David Kennedy because the defendant never received their fine in the post.

Amy Rogers, 29 Charlesland Court, Greystones, was before Bray District Court on Thursday, November 9, facing a charge of driving without a tax disc on display on her vehicle on April 12, 2017, at the R774 Farrankelly Road, Delgany.

However, Ms Rogers informed the court that she never received any fine in the post, leading to Judge Kennedy to strike out the charge.
