Judge David Kennedy issued bench warrants for the arrest two north Wicklow men who failed to appear before Arklow District Court on Wednesday.

Daniel Lacey, 75 Hazelwood, Fassaroe, Bray was due to face a charge of driving as a provisional licence holder without being accompanied by a qualified driver on February 16, 2017, at Cronakip, Brittas Bay.

Gavin Dunne, 5 Seapoint Drive, Newcastle, was due to appear before Judge David Kennedy at Wednesday’s court sittings over a drug possession charge at The Kish, Arklow on May 13 of this year.

Noting they hadn’t made an appearance in court, Judge Kennedy issued bench warrants for both men.
