Bargains on the block at Lions Club charity auction

Hotel breaks in Donegal and Adare, original paintings by local artists, restaurant vouchers and much more will go under the hammer at the Bray Lions Club annual auction.

The auction will take place this at the Wild Goose bar (formerly Hollands), this Friday, December 1, at 8 p.m.

Auctioneer Danny Bohan hopes to have more than 100 items to sell with target prices ranging from €5 upwards.

‘It is an ideal opportunity for the people of Bray to pick up some Christmas bargains while helping Bray Lions Club projects’, said Karl O’Broin, president of Bray Lions Club.

‘Every cent raised at the auction will go to a good cause in Bray’, he said.

‘Lions members cover all administrative expenses through their annual subscription, ensuring that all contributions from the public go direct to a good cause.’

The auction is always a highlight of the Lions Club calendar and a very enjoyable evening.
