Stars on a family day out in Powerscourt
NO visit to Wicklow would be complete without a trip to Powerscourt Estate & Gardens in Enniskerry.
Movie stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were as keen as anyone to see the beauty spot and enjoy a bite to eat at Avoca while they were there last Monday.
Blake was behind the camera this time, with Ryan posing at the iconic gardens for a couple of snaps, which he posted on Instagram with the caption ‘Any landing is a good lan-’.
While they were left alone to enjoy a family day with their two children, staff were delighted to see the famous pair at Powerscourt. They were very relaxed there, and ‘just any normal family’.
The picture was taken in front of the ‘Perron’ fence at Powerscourt, with a beautiful view of the Sugarloaf mountain in the background. The fence was just restored last year for the first time.
The couple are staying in nearby Dalkey for a few weeks, while Blake shoots scenes for the film ‘ The Rhythm Section’ at various locations in Dublin and Wicklow.
While Powerscourt wasn’t one of the locations, the series ‘Into the Badlands’ is currently being filmed at the estate.
The husband and wife duo have been seen out and about in Dublin already, and appear to be enjoying their time in Ireland.
