McCabe’s pharmacy is launched
THE OFFICIAL launch of McCabe’s pharmacy on Quinsboro Road took place yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.
It used to be Lawlor’s pharmacy and McCabe’s bought it over a year ago. It was officially rebranded yesterday and the event was marked with a big in-store celebration. Radio station East Coast FM were in to help the launch, with DJ Tommy Green broadcasting all afternoon.
There were hourly giveaways of hampers including a mix of things such as slippers, dressing gowns, cosmetics and more, and a luxury Clarins hamper at the end of the day. Children enjoyed balloons and face painting. A spokeswoman for McCabes said that plenty of people popped in to find out what the celebration was all about and the good news is there will be a discount for customers until Saturday.
