On with the (next) show!

-

ALADDIN wrapped up at St Patrick’s School last weekend, with another series of fantastic shows by Bray Musical Society.

It was all-singing, all-dancing and all-fun from the wonderful cast who entertained children and adults alike.

The panto was on at the Bray school hall over the course of two weekends, and was just the right way to get the Christmas season started.

Tim Forde played the part of Aladdin, while Caoimhe Murphy was Princess Jasmine.

They were joined by all the panto favourites including The Widow Twanky, Nobby, and no shortage of genies, emperors, and speaking statues.

The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed the high-quality performances, which would rival any professional production.

The Musical Society members will not rest on their laurels, and auditions are on this week for the forthcoming spring Show Suessical.

An open night was held yesterday evening at St Cronans, with dance auditions on this Thursday, singing Tuesday, December 12, and acting on Thursday, December 14. Suessical will be on at Mermaid Arts Centre from April 18 to 21, 2018.
