Christmas draw

Tickets were sold out well in advance for the annual Glencormac United FC Christmas Draw. The club have run this 500/1 Draw for the past few years and it their main fundraiser for the season and receives great support from the community which they are very grateful for. The prize winners on the night were; first of €2,000; won by Marion and Pat Hall and sold by John Hall, second prize of €1,000 was won by Aimee Merrigan (c/o Paddy Merrigan), third prize of €500 was won by Seán Bryan (c/o Jason Minto). There was also five prizes of €100 each which were won by Bernie Cullen (c/o Christy Devlin), Brian Glennon (c/o Padraic Meehan), Kevin O’Loughlin (c/o MUFC and Alan Prendergast), George Graham (c/o Christy Devlin) and eighth prize was won by Declan Mallen (c/o Padraic Meehan).

The club and committee wish to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported the draw both this year and every year. The money raised is vital to the ongoing running of the club and without the support of the local community it’s members they could not keep going.
