Christmas market

-

The now annual outdoor Christmas market will once again take place this Saturday (December 9) in Plucks Carpark. The fair will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and thankfully stalls were in huge demand again this year (please contact Kathleen Tighe at or phone 089 4067564 to see can she fit you in).

Santa will also take time out from his busy schedule for a visit and has a very special message for all our local children and he asked us to let you all know that he will be collecting letters from all the boys and girls so bring your letter with you and pop it into Santa’s postbox at the market.

Due to our market been so close to the big day he won’t be able to reply but he has said he will read every single letter. Some of the wonderful stalls include Tara Jams and chutney sauces, the popular Wooden Snowmen, Some wonderful products from Barbara of Divine Touch, Botanical Soap therapy, Lovely Fury Animals/Toys, Freshly Cut Christmas Trees, Beautiful Christmas Wreaths, Knits/hats scarfs blankets novelties, Gift sets/his and hers, perfumes, aftershaves, socks, PJs Car Care, hair accessories, Make up, Glassware and Tableware, Christmas plants/ wreaths/swags, mobile phone/iPad accessories, handbags/purses/belts/ wallets leather goods, Children’s/ teens/men/women fashion clothes/ trainers/shoes/gym – leisure wear and baby hampers. Plenty there to satisfy everyone and the weather looks like it could be dry so fingers crossed.

The organising team have very kindly offered the money raised from Stall Holders will go to Glencormac United Football Club this year. The club caters for almost 100 kids now ranging from the Academy to under-14s and a senior team and this gesture is very much appreciated by all at the club.
