Late night weekend Darts operating until New Year’s

-

Late night Darts are now operating from Dublin on the weekends in the run-up to Christmas and on New Year’s Eve.

Late night DART and Commuter services are part of a range of late night public transport services available this Christmas season. Full details of all public transport late night services are available from Transport for Ireland at On Friday and Saturday, December 15 and 16, and Friday, December 22, trains will depart from Connolly at 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m., serving all stations to Greystones.

New Year’s Eve services will be confirmed in the coming days. Fares will be charged at normal rates, meaning customers can use Leapcard and buy cash fares. Weekly, monthly and annual season tickets are valid on late night services, so season ticket holders will be able to use the services at no extra charge. Late night services will have security personnel on board to ensure customer safety. A spokesperson for Iarnród Éireann said ‘we’re looking forward to running late night DART and Commuter services this Christmas and New Year. Having had a hugely successful first year of operation, this is an added benefit for customers who have used the line, and for new customers to try out the service’
